Outdated 1996 Unit Ventilators
These unit ventilators (original to 1996 addition) are loud, inefficient, and do not maintain temperature and humidity in the spaces they serve.
They contribute to poor indoor air quality and premature building degradation, particularly in the lower level of the middle school where the humidity issues are the worst.

Degraded Window Seals
Windows need replacement due to degraded seals.

Outdated Emergency Lighting
Emergency lighting is currently operating on batteries. Will be removed and eliminated with addition of a building generator.

Outdated Kitchen Equipment
The kitchen needs some updated equipment, including this outdated walk-in cooler and freezer.

Aging Air Handling Units
To avoid costly repairs, the air handling units need to be replaced with efficient units.

Chipping Floor Tile
Floor tile and carpet replacement is needed in several areas of our building.

Ceilings and Partial Roof Replacement
Ceilings need repair and roof needs partial replacement.

Underutilized Lobby
The proposed plan will address making better use of the space we already have, including the under-utilized gymnasium lobby and commons area.

Our current cafeteria is not big enough to accommodate the number of students that we have.

Parking Lot Deteriorating and Play Space Needed
The parking lot asphalt is cracked and in need of repair, and more dedicated outdoor play space is needed for the students.
